Exhibit Design Award in Silver for Sony Computer Entertainment Deutschland and Uniplan
At the start of the new year, Sony Computer Entertainment Deutschland and Uniplan have good reason to celebrate. The Sony PlayStation brand promotion at gamescom 2009, designed and implemented by Uniplan, received a Silver award at the world-renowned Exhibit Design Awards.
The Exhibit Design Awards are allocated by an international jury for outstanding projects worldwide in trade fair and exhibition design. It is awarded once a year by the American Exhibitor Magazine. In recent years Uniplan and Sony Computer Entertainment have already received awards: In 2007 the design of the brand promotion at the Games Convention received the Silver award and a year later the EDGE award, the top prize given at the Exhibit Design Awards.
“To be given another Exhibit Design Award is a really super achievement for us. It shows that our innovative idea of designing the brand promotion at gamescom 2009 with user generated content can also score in an international comparison”, says Ulrich Barbian, the Marketing Director of Sony Computer Entertainment Deutschland.
