Your role
- Identify New Business Opportunities: Explore and cultivate new business prospects among existing and potential clients to meet and exceed the company's financial objectives.
- Project and Event Leadership: Lead and oversee multiple projects and events, taking them from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring they align with clients' objectives and requirements.
- Client Engagement Management: Manage the entire client engagement process, from the initial contact to defining project scope, preparing proposals, negotiating fees, and recommending staffing structures to support new business initiatives.
- Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance project delivery and meet client expectations.
- Resource Management: Organize internal resources for project execution and coordinate external resources if necessary.
- Collaboration with Creative and Project Teams: Collaborate closely with the Creative Team to develop creative strategic plans that meet clients' needs. Work with the Project Team on project development, production, and delivery, from pitching to final execution.
- Procurement and Finance Collaboration: Collaborate with the Procurement and Finance Teams in sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring goods and services from external sources, often through the tendering process.
- On-Site Support: Conduct on-site inspections for each project and provide on-site support to clients as needed.
Your talent
- Education: Higher Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, Event & Exhibition Management, Public Relations, or related fields.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years in sales, account servicing, or client management roles in the Exhibition, Events, or related industry.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining strong client relationships at all levels.
- Creative Thinking: Proven ability to contribute creative strategies and development to projects.
- Leadership: Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to guide and lead team members effectively.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with peers and external vendors.
- Problem Solving: Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle crises with effective solutions.
- Project Management: A comprehensive understanding of the pitch process, project flow, and international standards for event project delivery.
- Time Management: Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Availability: Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays as required.
- Travel: Occasional business trips may be necessary.
