From Vision to Reality

Introduction

Our new client BOBST is one of the world’s leading suppliers of substrate processing, printing and converting equipment and services for the label, flexible packaging, folding carton and corrugated industries.

We are accompanying BOBST on their journey to realise their vision of shaping the future of the packaging world. To showcase this transition from a machine manufacturer to a provider of comprehensive and integrated solutions along the entire value chain, we adopted a completely new design approach for the experience. Our mission was to turn BOBST’s industry vision into a tangible experience at drupa 2024.

The Challenge

Driving Engagement with Cutting-Edge Solutions

BOBST aimed to create a visitor experience that engages and influences both existing and new relationships through inspirational content, proof points, available solutions, and solution-based discussions. To achieve this, they sought to illustrate their technological journey and provide a platform for dialogue and connection. Our main challenge was to highlight their industry vision achievements in the four industries they serve with one single concept machine and technology proof points, while enabling the sales team to inspire all stakeholders.

What We Did

Translating the BOBST’s industry vision into a tangible experience

For the BOBST booth at drupa, we supported their overall industry vision by showcasing BOBST Connect, a cloud-based digital platform to enhance packaging productivity, as the heart of the experience. To create a holistic engagement, we produced several live shows, explaining the overall services and solutions as well as benefits for the customers for each of the industries. With exhibits focusing on technology solutions the customers could explore every aspect across the entire workflow.

How We Delivered

A Hands-on Experience for everyone

The booth was designed to incorporate brand elements that enhanced visibility and facilitated visitor orientation. A cloud element symbolized BOBST Connect and was surrounded by screens providing additional insights on innovative services and customer-centric digital solutions. This setup was complemented by several live shows throughout the days, allowing customers to actively experience the recipe for their success.

The booth also featured a sample wall and a concept home environment showcasing the final applications. Our concept delivered an active and engaging experience for customers at the trade fair. Through dialogue and digital interaction, facilitated by physical, digital and interactive elements, we successfully presented BOBST as the industry leader which actively drives the industry transformation.
