Introduction

Chinese automotive brand BYD was looking to elevate its presence in the UAE through a sleek new showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai.

Our MENA team was briefed to create a temporary yet impactful pop-up retail location that could speak for the brand's ambition as a global leader in electric vehicle manufacturing.

The Challenge

BYD needed a high-visibility showroom that would communicate their brand’s innovative and modern ethos while being mindful of the temporary nature of the installation.

Requiring cost-effective materials without compromising on design, our team was tasked with finding elegant, smart and efficient solutions. BYD expected a showroom that would not only attract potential customers but also reflect the chic and modern image of the BYD brand, appealing to its growing consumer base in the UAE.

What We Did

We embraced the challenge of creating a showroom that balances aesthetic appeal with the practical constraints of a temporary structure.

Our approach integrated BYD’s brand identity seamlessly into both the interior and exterior designs, ensuring the space felt both luxurious and accessible. We wanted to portray BYD as a forward-thinking, sustainable automotive brand. This was translated through sleek, modern design elements and strategic use of space and materials.

We handled every aspect of the showroom’s development, from conceptual design to production. The exterior design featured treated facades and a custom pylon that harmonized with the surrounding architecture while standing out as a beacon of the BYD brand. Inside, the space was designed with clear branding, directional signage, and an inviting layout that guided visitors through an engaging brand journey.

How We Delivered

The showroom was executed with precision, meeting and exceeding the client's expectations despite the project’s temporary nature.

We paid special attention to using cost-effective materials that did not compromise the showroom’s sleek and upscale appearance. Our solution involved modular construction techniques that allowed for quick assembly and disassembly.

Unique elements such as the harmonious integration of BYD’s brand colors and the strategic positioning of LED screens added a distinctive touch to the showroom. These elements reinforced the brand’s image and provided a dynamic visual experience.
