This event brought together gaming enthusiasts for a laid-back yet thrilling showdown, complete with cozy sofas, delicious fried chicken, and an electrifying gaming arena, where students competed in fun, relaxed "lie-down-and-win" battles.
The Challenge
A Crucial Moment to Connect with University Students
The key challenge was motivating students to step out of their dorms and campuses to engage in an offline experiential event while enhancing OnePlus’ brand recognition among this demographic. The goal was to highlight the superior gaming and esports performance of the OnePlus Ace 5 in a way that resonated with young consumers.
Traditional product displays alone would not capture their attention, so this event needed to cleverly align with student interests while offering a fresh, social, and interactive experience to build a dynamic brand image among university audiences.
What We Did
Relaxed social gaming & interaction with popular influencers
At Guangzhou University Town, we attracted widespread student participation through entertaining and interactive formats. The event featured an immersive gaming experience zone, shooting challenges, and friendly matches with popular campus influencers. To enhance the fun and engagement, we offered free fried chicken and incorporated a playful victory dance session.
The event was further amplified by the presence of renowned influencer Xinggou, who interacted with attendees and helped boost the campaign's visibility across social media platforms.
