Introduction

In the flow of inspiration

Our client PALMBERG is one of Europe's leading office furniture manufacturers. For their booth at ORGATEC 2024, we were responsible for the design and implementation of an innovative exhibition stand that fosters customer interaction while effectively showcasing PALMBERG’s products.

The Challenge

A vision in focus

PALMBERG's vision was to integrate the "Wherever, Whenever – Work Culture Festival" of the trade fair into their booth, placing inspiration, networking, and entertainment at the center. Our challenge was to design an innovative and eye-catching booth that impressively reinforces PALMBERG's brand presence, attracts visitors, and encourages natural interactions.

The design process began with the question of how to visually capture the modern working world and the concept of "New Work." The goal was to create a concept that defines spaces that adapt, workstations that can be used flexibly, and furniture that seamlessly integrates into this dynamic environment.

What We Did

Bringing concepts to life

We designed an impressive 1,100 m² exhibition stand that showcased the company's new product range in an engaging and aesthetically pleasing way. The concept of flexibility was reflected in flowing fabric panels, which served as a stand boundary instead of a rigid barrier. The color adaptation of the fabrics to PALMBERG's product world created a harmonious connection between design and brand identity, making the stand not only visually striking but also effectively conveying the company's values.

How We Delivered

Flexibility in Execution

To bring our client’s vision to life and authentically showcase the flexibility of New Work, we created a dynamic façade of flowing fabric panels, powered by hidden fans. These moving fabrics symbolized PALMBERG's products' adaptability to the ever-evolving needs of the modern working world.

The gradient of the fabrics, inspired by PALMBERG's product range, represented the continuous evolution of work environments and reinforced the visual connection to the brand. The interplay of light and color created a vibrant, dynamic atmosphere that attracted visitors from afar.

The booth was divided into different zones: The rear area was designed as a hospitality space with its own catering service, providing room for networking, while the front area featured a special highlight zone that captured attention and invited visitors to explore the central product display. Two DJs created a pleasant atmosphere, bringing the booth to life and making it more inviting. As a special giveaway, visitors received a pocket square or scarf in the colors of the fabric panels, highlighting the booth’s flexibility and giving them a small, symbolic piece of the exhibition to take home.
