Intelligent Blessing

With the change and development of mass consumption concepts in China, new forms of light – or affordable - luxury brands have become increasingly popular: brands with high standards in both taste and fashion and a bigger awareness of costs.

Unlike other box-type commercial malls, Parc Central is a huge “Open Shopping Park”. Uniplan, in partnership with Parc Central, is proud to create a unique consumer experience this Chinese New Year, combining both technology and Chinese traditional culture.

Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival, is the most important festival of the year in China. In the traditional culture of Chinese New Year, Hui Chun - a typical decoration containing four Chinese characters in gold writing - is essential to convey blessing.

Instead of inviting yet another calligrapher to perform the traditional writing, we combined traditional culture with modern technology: We created a robot arm doing the writings on-site. Visitors could design their own best wishes and send their gratitude to loved ones – making a visit to Parc Central Mall this Chinese New Year a truly distinctive experience.
