Introduction
From Abu Dhabi, a New Standard for Education Events
At the Education First Forum 2025, hosted by Emirates College for Advanced Education, Uniplan brought to life a fully immersive, multi-zone experience that translated ECAE’s forward-thinking educational themes into real-world engagement. From sustainability and inclusion to innovation and heritage, each installation was designed to highlight how every action in education can lead to lasting impact.
Held in Abu Dhabi, the forum gathered educators, leaders, and young learners to collectively explore the future of education through a tapestry of interactive storytelling, woven across digital, spatial, and emotional dimensions.
The Challenge
Turning a Strategic Education Agenda into Tangible Experience
The forum wasn’t a typical education event, but more of a carefully curated ecosystem of interactive experiences aimed at shifting perception, sparking dialogue, and demonstrating the core pillars of ECAE’s National Educators’ Competency Framework.
The challenge was clear: how do you make policy feel personal, innovation feel intuitive, and abstract values like inclusion and sustainability feel real, tangible? And how do you do it all in a way that connects with students, government officials, and academic experts alike?
What We Did
Weaving the ‘Tapestry of Impact’ into Every Layer
Our creative platform, “The Tapestry of Impact,” became the foundation of the forum experience. Each zone represented a different thread: from a digital archive of local stories (Heritage), to a holographic tree that grew with every sustainability quiz (Sustainability), to AI-driven educational journeys (Innovation), and inclusive classroom simulations (Inclusion).
Every activation allowed guests to explore, touch, move, and contribute to the narrative. Even the main stage moment, led by a student character named Ahmad, was designed as a cinematic moment that brought together all themes in a shared emotional finale.
