Introduction

Volkswagen at the 2023 WNEVC

WNEVC (World New Energy Vehicles Congress), China's premier industry event, serves as a catalyst for global advancements in new energy vehicles, showcasing China's leadership in pioneering new energy vehicle technology and fostering discourse on future industry trajectories.

Since 2019, the Volkswagen Group has been an integral participant at WNEVC.

The Challenge

Adherence to VW's New Brand Design Standards

The project demanded a meticulous adherence to VW's New Brand Design (NBD) standards while amplifying communication efforts for the newly unveiled ID.7 car, alongside hosting the inaugural visit of VW's new CEO for China.

What We Did

Comprehensive visual strategy

Drawing on Volkswagen Group's NBD standards, we devised a comprehensive visual strategy, encompassing a revamped stand design, a dynamic brand video highlighting the full spectrum of product features, naked-eye 3D and communication videos spotlighting key models, including a festive Christmas-themed feature for the Volkswagen Group.

Complementing the debut of the ID.7, we crafted digital interactive installations intricately linked to each model's selling points.

How We Delivered

Digital interaction brings endless possibilities

Guided by Volkswagen's NBD principles, Uniplan meticulously crafted a fresh visual identity, enriching customer experiences to encapsulate Volkswagen's vision of high-tech, future electrification, and sustainable development.

We devised a compelling brand narrative, culminating in a brand-new TVC. Leveraging naked-eye 3D technology, we enhanced the allure of each ID model for guests. Bolstered by the debut of the ID.7 VIZZION, we curated a comprehensive suite of digital interactions, enabling guests to immerse themselves fully in the electrified technology highlights.
