Let's go down in history

In the summer of 2022, our client REISSER, one of the leading specialist retailers for sanitary supplies, looked back on 150 years of successful company history. To celebrate this milestone in a fitting manner, Uniplan planned and managed a two-day anniversary festival that provided space for exchange with business clients, partners and employees.   

The Challenge

It takes perfect logistical planning

It was a premiere for our customer REISSER: An event where employees from all locations came together, vendors exhibited their products and invited business customers participated enthusiastically.

For this purpose, we took on the challenge of transforming the parking lot of the company headquarters in Böblingen, in the south of Germany, into a festival area for 900 guests on each of two days. Through precise logistical planning, we created the entire infrastructure on an area that was not intended for an event.

What we did

Our team designed a multi-layered concept, it was responsible for the entire planning and implementation and combined two strengths of Uniplan: trade fairs and events.

We designed and built an in-house trade fair that was held in REISSER's ultra-modern high-bay warehouse. 33 companies - the brands our client distributes as a specialty retailer - exhibited their products and networked with customers and employees. In the outdoor area, the combination of elegant umbrella constructions, light installations, orchestrated stage design and charming details transformed the location into a festival site that generated great excitement.

How we delivered

A weekend that unites

Despite the ongoing constraints of the Corona pandemic - postponements, material and staff shortages - the team skillfully managed the extensive production and the challenging construction and deconstruction of the 3.350sqm shield construct of the event in three weeks on site.

The interest of the guests was clearly noticeable. On both days, visitors to the in-house exhibition arrived even before the official opening to take full advantage of the day. In the evening, the exciting stage show, musical and artistic accompaniment, and special REISSER highlights provided lively entertainment that kept people talking for weeks afterwards.
