Driving The Future

Building on its impressive performance at last year’s Paris Motor Show, Uniplan’s China-German team has once again joined hands with GAC to make its mark at Germany’s IAA MOBILITY this year.

Under the theme “Driving the Future”, the collaboration connects Guangzhou and Europe, presenting the vibrant ONE GAC 2.0 initiative, consistently shaping a unified and compelling brand image.

Uniplan comprehensively crafted a uniquely distinctive brand presence for GAC at the 2025 IAA, including booth design, press conferences, creative video content production, digital content presentation, and construction & operation.

The Challenge

Global Integration & Growth

How could we strategically position the GAC brand to meaningfully integrate into the mature European market, enhance local awareness, and effectively lay the foundation for sustained global growth?

At the same time, we needed to translate the abstract, high-level strategic concepts, such as the "GAC Solution", into engaging, tangible visual and experiential expressions that specifically address European users' growing demands for low-carbon and intelligent mobility.

What We Did

Building Scenario-based Spatial Narratives

We delivered a comprehensive creative and execution package centered on immersive storytelling.

The entire event was orchestrated to deliver a truly compelling brand journey for global users that beautifully blends advanced technology with human craftsmanship, from the strategic vision to the final sensory detail.

Setting sail for Europe once more, the visual narrative of this year’s main KV juxtaposes the Guangzhou Tower in China with the Munich Olympic Tower in Germany: these two landmarks stand as centripetal veins at either end.

— Cohesive Key Visual: Our key visual used the “Two Landmarks Connection” concept: a signature blend of cool and warm tones symbolizing the powerful integration of tech innovation from Guangzhou-Shenzhen and automotive craftsmanship from Munich. This visual and lighting language cleverly reinforced the low-carbon and smart mobility narrative.

— Strategic Launch Moment: For the high-stakes product launch conference, we transformed the space into a high-impact, immersive theater, leveraging dynamic visual language across all screens to underscore the European debut of the AION V and the unveiling of the "GAC Solution."

How We Delivered

Immersive Scenario Design and Technical Execution

On the user experience journey, the team adheres to the launch strategy for the European market.

Our philosophy centers on strategic key models, highlighting the brand's exceptional credibility while closely aligning with the core needs of European consumers. Through AR technology, European users can immerse themselves in exploring the vehicle's technical highlights and vividly join AION UT in Europe's future mobility journey.

— Dynamic Displays: We dedicated 70% of the front area to dynamic, living mobility scenes. Static vehicles were brought to life using engine-powered backdrops that displayed European streetscapes across four seasons, syncing perfectly with the cars and screens.

— Multi-Sensory Engagement: To simplify complex features and heighten immersion, we seamlessly integrated AR interactions layered over the vehicles. This technical depth was complemented by a synchronized multi-sensory package, coordinating screen lighting, subtle vehicle paint reflections, and precisely controlled surround sound, turning passive viewing into active discovery.

— Localization and Content Targeting: Vehicle presentations were deliberately structured around scenario-based needs and used tailored messaging, ensuring every product advantage was accurately aligned with the specific local mobility demands of the European customer.

Key Facts

Project: GAC IAA Mobility 2025

Task: Uniplan partners with GAC to bring its future mobility vision to the 2025 Munich International Motor Show. The booth showcases GAC’s four core pillars and delivers diverse and engaging models & tech to European users via creative content/design.

Solution: Dynamic visuals are used to create an immersive theater, conveying the brand’s sincerity and confidence. On the user experience journey, the team adheres to the launch strategy for the European market. Our philosophy centers on strategic key models, highlighting the brand's exceptional credibility while closely aligning with the core needs of European consumers.

Outcome: We have continuously built a unified and compelling brand image for GAC's overseas expansion, successfully delivered GAC's brilliant presence at the 2025 IAA, and left a lasting impression on European audiences.
