Introduction

Debut in Paris - A New Global Chapter

At the 2024 Paris Motor Show, GAC International successfully demonstrated its leading advantages in new energy vehicles and intelligent connected technologies. With a 517 square meter booth design, Uniplan elevated GAC’s presence at the Motor Show, delivering a sensory feast centred on green mobility and future technology. This motor show was not only an important step in GAC's overseas strategy but also a testament to the collaborative strength of Uniplan's global team.

The challenge

An Extraordinary Brand Display Delivered through Global Collaboration

As one of the top five international motor shows in the world, the Paris Motor Show places extremely high demands on exhibitors' design and execution capabilities. The challenge for the Uniplan team lay in how to transform GAC’s brand elements into an astonishing visual language that resonates with the culture and values of the European market. In addition, the project needed to be efficiently advanced under the cross-regional cooperation of Chinese and German teams to ensure the highest-quality delivery of booth construction and AV effects.

Solution

Innovating with “The Art of Rhythm” at the Core of our Design

Centering on GAC's brand concept of green mobility and intelligent future, Uniplan customized a unique booth for GAC with “The Art of Rhythm” as the design theme. The inspiration for the booth comes from Paris, a city that is a feast of the senses in itself. The double-wing art installation our team placed at the centre of the booth showed GAC's brand journey from Guangzhou to Paris and conveyed its future vision attaching equal importance to intelligent technology and environmental protection.

The Power of We

To ensure the smooth progress of the project, Uniplan's Chinese and German teams worked closely together. The German team was responsible for the production and construction of the booth, as well as the audio-visual effects, while the Chinese team focused on the overall design and project management, leveraging their in-depth understanding GAC's brand concept and integrating its vision of green mobility and intelligent technology into the booth design.

The collaboration between the two teams ensured efficient resource allocation and impeccable timeline management, enabling the project to be completed smoothly and on time, and demonstrating Uniplan's professional capabilities in cross-regional project management and brand experience.

The Key Facts

Project: GAC International appeared at the 2024 Paris Motor Show to display their leading strength in the intelligent mobility and new energy fields, promoting the brand's awareness and recognition in the European market.

Task: The Uniplan team had to deliver a unique and visually impactful booth design, accurately conveying GAC's green mobility and intelligent brand concept to strengthen the brand’s image in the European market.

Solution: Uniplan developed “The Art of Rhythm” as core design concept and integrated the image of Paris as a city of sensory experiences into the booth design.

Result: The GAC International booth was one of the most remarkable branded spaces at the motor show, elevating the GAC brand and showcasing Uniplan’s expertise in creating and delivering attractive brand spaces through cross-regional collaborations. Meanwhile, GAC’s appearance in Paris was also reported by China Daily and other official Chinese media.
